Nick Lamond DC

Functional Chiropractor and Medical Acupuncturist

Hello, I am Nick. I originally studied as a chiropractor in 2001. I have a special interest in strength and conditioning based sports and lifting. From my first practice which I set up in London in 2009, I have had the opportunity to help a varied group of people; from international athletes, ballerinas, mixed martial artists, boxers to office workers and tree surgeons. I have consulted for personal training gyms, and assisted their teams in injury reduction strategies for their clients.

I enjoy an active lifestyle, and have completed a couple of Ultra Marathons.

I recently returned to Devon, so I could raise my children in the fresh air.

My Approach

My goal is to get a person to where they physically need to be, in the shortest and most realistic time frame; out of pain and moving well.

I use a mixture of techniques from the hands on of acupuncture and chiropractic to functional rehabilitation. I encourage a patient to take control of their injury by tailoring specific home/gym based exercises. I am heavily influenced by the work of Professor Stewart McGill, an industry leader in the research of human spine and joint injury process.
